All this talk about different methods of education has at different times found me in a rage, in a spin and just plain flummoxed. It seems straightforward to me.
If a child has not learned the way we teach, we MUST teach the way a child learns.
Most children learn best from a multisensory approach.
I believe, but I am biased you know, that Montessori is the best early years through to junior education you can get. It is also utterly brilliant for special needs, second time round adults who feel let down by education and for the elderly to help with memory retrieval and retention.
